Services & Fees

As is common in midwifery and maternity care, I charge an inclusive global fee.  This fee covers all routine prenatal care and labs, labor and delivery at home, and routine postpartum care for mom and baby for the first 6 weeks. My global fee is $6000, including a $500 deposit at the beginning of care.  I am not in network with any insurance companies and do not bill insurance directly, but I can provide you with a bill to submit yourself or I can recommend some local independent insurance billers that may be able to help you submit a claim.  

• All routine prenatal care & labs for mom & baby.  We will see each other for regular visits every 4 weeks until you are around 28 weeks pregnant.  We will then meet every 2 weeks until your 'home visit' at 36 weeks, where we will meet in your birth space and talk about your upcoming birth! After the home visit, we will have weekly appointments until your baby is born.  

• All labor and delivery care with me and a secondary licensed midwife, as well as use of my birth pool are a part of standard care. After your birth, we will stay with you and provide immediate postpartum care for several hours (or as long as you need) and then you get to rest. In your own bed. With no one bothering you. Well, except for your baby.

• Postpartum care for both mom and baby - includes a visit from me in your home in the first 24-48 hours, as well as subsequent visits at 2 weeks and 6 weeks. One of the best things about working with a midwife is the support you receive after your baby is born. No matter where or how you choose to birth your baby,  make sure you are setting yourself up for postpartum success by lining up the help you need.  

Sometimes when I hold the new babies, it makes me tear up a little.  It is such an honor and believe it or not, I hold them so rarely that it feels immensely special. I am who I am.
